For the fourth consecutive year, Van Ranst was assigned to produce the awards Boekenleeuw and Boekenpauw. This is the prize for the best and most beautifully illustrated children's or youth book. The initial design was supplied by the client and Van Ranst materialized it in goldplated brass. Inside the top, we included ingeniously an invisable hollow space wich makes that the logo and text are never upside down. After engraving, the awards were polished to perfection, goldplated and after that handled only with gloves on. You must admit, they look perfect.
