3D-printing

We have a 3D printer that prints resin, not wax.

The resin that we use is not castable. It leaves ash residue behind during the burning out proces wich makes it unsuitable for casting. This resin is used to print prototypes of which we make a rubber mould.

Difficult and one-off pieces are better printed in wax. But at this moment, we cannot offer you this service.

Once the piece is printed in wax however, Van Ranst can cast it in bronze, silver, yellow, white or redgold 18K or 14K.
